Caspian Caviar Caspian Gold Caviar

Ok, so this is not the legendary golden Almas caviar, harvested from the gills of ancient Oscietra sturgeon. If it was, we would double the price and then stick two noughts on the end! However, it is still a rarity as it is harvested from albino sturgeon. Its golden hue looks fantastic and lights up any table, providing a real talking point, as will its fantastic taste.

The Sterlet (Acipenser Ruthenus) is a lesser known Caspian sturgeon. It was always relatively rare and its caviar was rarely seen in the west as it was highly prized by those in the Russian hierachy. The source of this extraordinary caviar is a stock of albino Sterlet sturgeon being farmed in Germany.

The egg size is 2-2.5mm, similar to Sevruga. The eggs tend to be rather delicate, with a unique fresh and aromatic taste. If you are after a caviar that is out of the ordinary, but at an ordinary price, then this is the one for you.

However hard we try, things can go wrong with a delivery. This will result from things beyond our control, such as van breakdowns, severe weather or road closures. In the event of non arrival, please contact the Home Deliveries team on 0845 606 8868 as soon as possible. We will do whatever we can to get your parcel delivered, but our success will rely on an early warning.
