Weighing approximately 1 Kg (2.2lbs) this is smoked salmon as it used to be. This superior quality smoked salmon is available ready sliced or whole.
Using techniques unchanged for over twenty years the sides of salmon are prepared for smoking in a special brine-marinade with rum, molasses and juniper to give a subtle hint of sweetness to the aftertaste. Slow smoking over smouldering oak shavings gives a firm texture and wonderful appealing aroma.
The salmon are grown at a low stocking density in fast flowing A1 quality water (the cleanest in Europe). The salmon are guaranteed free from antibiotics and hormones and are only fed natural ingredients to produce a natural salmon colour.
The salmon are certified by Naturland and the smoking is certified by the Organic Food Federation. |
