These duck escalopes are prepared and deveined, heat sliced and flash frozen, to ensure all the flavour is retained until cooking. They can be cooked from frozen straight to the pan giving very little reduction.
Because the escalopes are frozen, they retain their flavour and loose very little fat when cooked. This product is used by many top chefs, it is very versatle and easy to use. Simply pan fry the escalopes, searing both sides, and you will have a perfect starter worthy of any top restaurant.

Each bag contains 20 - 25 slices Duck Foie Gras
This is a great product and is very easy to use. However, it is frozen when it leaves us but is likely to be at least partially defrosted when it reaches you. Therefore, we do suggest that you plan delivery within 48 hours of when you intend to devour the foie gras.
