The Russians like to talk of Red and Black Caviar. The red being salmon caviar and the black being any sturgeon caviar. So we have put together our House Selection Caviar and a jar of our Keta, plus a bottle of Russian Belenkaya Gold Vodka.

Caspian Caviar House Selection 50g

It may be tempting to lament the decline of wild caviar, but instead lets celebrate the rise of sturgeon farming and the improvement in skills and farming techniques. Without such an improvement, it simply would not be possible to offer you caviar of this quality at such a remarkable price.

The eggs are similar in size to Oscietra, but are rather darker in colour, some verging towards black. The caviar is lightly salted and has a mild, clean taste. It is surprisingly complex, with flavours of the sea sprinkled with citrus undertones. Best of all, at this price, you can have lots of it!

We have taken a tasting tour of caviar from lesser known sturgeon breeds being farmed across Europe in the search of a quality, low cost caviar to offer to you as our House Selection. This caviar is derived from Siberian/Oscietra hybrid sturgeon, produced on a farm in Germany.

Keta 100g

Fabulous Grade 1 Keta Salmon Caviar from Alaska.

A special selection from wild catch, on the way to their spawning grounds in Alaskan waters. The Salmon Roe is a wonderful vivid reddy orange colour, with large eggs that burst in the mouth, flooding the senses with flavours of the ocean with an unmistakable hint of silver and adventure. A big favourite in the office.

Belenkaya Gold Vodka 70cl

Belenkaya Gold vodka is a new addition to our vodka stable. As it is distilled in Moscow, how could we refuse? Water is drawn from a 200m deep artesian well and is triple filtered before being used to produce Belenkaya. To remove impurities, the vodka is further filtered through 13m of charcoal. To ensure clarity and purity, the vodka is filtered twice more before bottling.

Due to the infusion of oat flakes, Belenkaya Gold has a soft, deep taste and a delicate, yet pure aroma of vodka.

What is Borax?

Borax, also known as Sodium borate, is a form of salt that is traditionally used in caviar production. It helps in the preservation process, improves consistency and also enhances the flavour.

Delivery Details

We offer a range of delivery options, which are listed on the order page. All UK caviar orders are sent out on a next day basis, excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays, on a fully trackable service. We need your order by 2.00pm if we are to deliver the following day. Your order will be packed with ice and delivered in thermo-dynamic packaging to ensure that it arrives with you in perfect condition.

Our system allows you to select your required delivery day, up to two months in advance.

We despatch using Parcel Force for deliveries in the UK. It is a "sign for" service so please ensure that there is somebody home on the day of delivery. On despatch, you will receive confirmation, along with the Parcel Force tracking number. Most areas now have "Live Tracking" which provides an estimated time of delivery, which can help to ensure that somebody is at home.

For specialist delivery options, such as same day delivery, a specific time or within 90 minutes in central London, please phone the office.

However hard we try, things can go wrong with a delivery. This will result from things beyond our control, such as van breakdowns, severe weather or road closures. In the event of non arrival, please contact the Home Deliveries team on 0845 606 8868 as soon as possible. We will do whatever we can to get your parcel delivered, but our success will rely on an early warning. Having been doing this for over 18 years, we do know how best to work the systems.
