There is no denying that there are still some things that the French do better than anybody else. Producing Foie Gras and producing pudding wine are certainly two such things. So we thought that we would put them together and add some Sauternes Jelly to make rather a lovely gift set. In this Deluxe version, we have also included some Bloc de Foie Gras for a variation in texture.

Do note that the very smart black gift box has a magnetic seal. This means that it can be accessed, items refrigerated and then the gift can be re-assembled at a later date if need be.

Duck Foie Gras 180g

Our Whole Duck Foie Gras is produced in France and is of outstandingly high quality with a lovely rich flavour. The fantastic range of semi preserved foie gras is a perfect starter or canape. The Goose is a little richer and denser than the Duck. Which do you prefer?

This gourmet delicacy is presented in a traditional kilner jar and is delicious served with our Sauternes jelly on lightly toasted bread/brioche and paired with Sauternes.

Bloc de Foie Gras (Duck) 130g
A variation on the above, with the foie being processed to produce a dense pate but also containing pieces of complete foie gras. This produces a smoother texture and allows for a more elegant presentation.

Sauternes Jelly 100g

Madame de Rayne 2020 Sauternes 37.5ml

Madame de Rayne from Sauternes is a delicious sweet wine made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. The 2020 vintage was particularly successful and this shows through with its luminous golden colour and complex aromas of candied fruit, dried apricot, roasted pineapple and honey, enriched by touches of vanilla and saffron from extended ageing in oak barrels. On the palate, the liquor is sumptuous, combining power, elegance and freshness, supported by a remarkable acidity that balances the richness in sugar.

duck foie gras, pieces of duck foie gras 30%, water, salt, Armagnac, pepper, sugar, antioxidant : ascorbic acid (E300), preservative : sodium nitrate (E250)

Sauternes Jelly

Sauternes (66% contains sulphates), sugar, gelling agent (pectin)

Delivery Details

We offer a range of delivery options, which are listed on the order page. All GB caviar orders are sent out on a "next day" basis on a fully trackable service. We deliver every day excluding Sundays, Mondays and Bank Holidays. We need your order by 1.00pm if we are to deliver the following day. Your order will be packed with ice and delivered in thermo-dynamic packaging to ensure that it arrives with you in perfect condition.

Our system allows you to select your required delivery day, up to two months in advance.

We dispatch using DPD for deliveries in UK. They do leave orders but it is best if there is somebody home at the time of delivery. On dispatch, you will receive confirmation, along with the DPD tracking number. On the day of delivery, you should receive a notification of a 1 hour delivery time slot.

For specialist delivery options, such as same day delivery, a specific time or place, please phone the office.

EU Deliveries

We can now offer a limited range of caviar for delivery within the EU: Royal Beluga 125g & 250g, Royal Oscietra 125g & 250g, Oscietra 125g & 250g.

Please note that if your basket contains any other items, you will not be offered the EU delivery option.

However hard we try, things can go wrong with a delivery. This will result from things beyond our control, such as van breakdowns, severe weather or road closures. In the event of non arrival, please contact the Home Deliveries team on 01453 845200 as soon as possible. We will do whatever we can to get your parcel delivered, but our success will rely on an early warning. Having been doing this for over 20 years, we do know how best to work the systems.

Our credit/debit card payment system, including security, is provided by Barclaycard ePDQ, one of the world's largest providers of such services. We do not hold any customer credit card details.
