Caspian Caviar was founded back in 2000. Ever since then, we have been supplying a loyal customer base with the finest caviar on the market, and an increasing range of other fine foods and accessories. Our speciality is meeting the needs of our private clients, but we also supply hotels, restaurants, planes, yachts and private clubs.
Since the company was formed, the caviar market has gone through considerable changes. First came the free-for-all in the Caspian Sea following the collapse of the Soviet Union, then the restriction in supply due to over fishing. This led, in 2009, to sturgeon and their products being included in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), which curtailed the legal export of caviar from the Caspian Sea.
Luckily, some far sighted people across Europe and the rest of the world had foreseen this development and invested in sturgeon farming. Producing good quality caviar from the desirable sturgeon species is not an entirely straightforward task. Thus we now spend considerable effort in sourcing caviar from the very best farms in Europe.
