Love is in the eggs

It has been a little while since I have addressed the blog issue. It got rather hectic in the run up to Christmas – very, in fact. It was great but it did become all consuming. Then there was January – catching up after the Christmas rush and managing to address a few pheasants.

Now life is getting back to normal, with the thankfully short month of February upon us. The real highlight of February, (barring the wife’s birthday of course!) is naturally St Valentine’s Day. There can really be very few more romantic meals than a beautiful bowl of caviar, with all the trimmings and something nice to drink.

Do you both like it served the same way? I like a little bit of sour cream and some chopped egg. The wife prefers more cream and a touch of chopped chives. How about a little bit of potato or some smoked salmon? I hear that some people like a squeeze of lemon, but please dont – save it for the gin – our caviar is just too good to cover in citric acid.

However you like it, make it exciting and have a lot of fun. To make it easier, take a look at some of our Valentine’s offers – discounts on sharing sizes and gift boxes.
